Dr. Jessica Brown | Dr. Wes Brown
Brown Family Dentistry was founded in 2006 by Dr. Wes Brown. In 2007, his wife, Dr. Jessica Brown, joined him in Newburgh after completing a year long associateship with Evansville dentists Drs. Bruce and Parvin Raibley. In February 2011 they purchased the historic Hose House #5 on St. Joe Ave in Evansville. Over the next six months they tediously renovated this beautiful piece of Evansville history and brought the building back to its former glory. In November 2011 they opened the doors to their unique dental office and began providing general and cosmetic dental services.
Dr. Jessica Brown
Dr. Jessica Brown grew up in Logansport, Indiana. She attended IUPUI and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In 2002 she began pursuing her doctorate degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry where she met her husband, Wes. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2006 and moved to Evansville. Dr. Jessica immediately began an associateship with Evansville dentist Drs. Bruce and Parvin Raibley. After a year of practice she decided it was time to join the family business and began working alongside her husband.
Dr. Jessica participates in extensive continuing education courses and has advanced dental training through the renowned Pankey institute. She has received training in implant placement and restoration, cosmetic restorations, and orthodontics.
Dr. Jessica is also active in several dental organizations that promote high level patient care and education. She holds active memberships in the following organizations:
– American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
– American Dental Association
– Indiana Dental Association
– First District Dental Society
Dr. Wes Brown
Dr. Wes Brown was born and raised on Evansville's west side. He is a graduate of Reitz High School and is a proud member of the class of 1997. He attended University of Evansville and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Upon graduation he moved to Indianapolis and began his dental education at Indiana University School of Dentistry. In 2006 he received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and moved back to his hometown to start up practice.
Dr. Wes has a long list of continuing education courses and has recently completed advanced dental training in dental sleep medicine at the renowned Pankey Institute. Other areas of dentistry that he has received extensive training include implant placement and restoration, endodontics, oral surgery, and dental sleep medicine.
Dr. Wes holds active membership in many dental organizations such as:
– American Dental Association
– Indiana Dental Association
– First District Dental Society
When they are not hard at work, Drs. Wes and Jess are busy with their four beautiful children, Wyatt, Jack, Joey, and Emma. In their spare time, they like to play baseball, take bike rides, and swim with the kids. They enjoy taking walks at USI and patronizing the local golf courses!
Drs. Wes and Jess depend heavily on their highly skilled staff. It is truly a joy to come to work everyday and spend time with these ladies!
Jamie has been working as Dr. Ottilie's dental hygienist for 22 years. She is very talented and we are honored to have her on our staff.
Ivy completed her dental assistant degree from USI in May 2013 and began working with us two weeks later. She is a very talented chair-side assistant and will put even the most terrified patients at ease!
Kristina joined Dr. Brown in 2015 as a dental assistant after graduating from the USI dental assisting program. She has been a wonderful addition to our growing practice.
Jackie began her career in 2015 working alongside Dr. Ottilie as his primary dental assistant. We are very excited that she has joined our staff this year.
Lynette started with us as the front office coordinator in 2013. She keeps this place running smoothly and has become the go-to person for scheduling, billing, and insurance questions.
